Dragon Class - Local Walk

To enrich our Geography topic this term, Year 4 will be undertaking a field trip around our local area to compare it against Brazil, which is our next topic. We will be looking at the human and physical features in our local area, the styles of houses and way of living and understanding rural to urban environments. We will then use this information back in the classroom to compare Cheshunt to Brazil. We will also focus on developing map-reading skills and increase awareness of our local area in relation to our school.

The children should wear school uniform, bring a coat and dress appropriately for the weather. They will be supplied with a hi-vis jacket which they must wear at all times on the trip.
