Welcome to Flamstead End School!

I am delighted and proud to be the Headteacher of Flamstead End School. I am really looking forward to working closely with our wider community and value developing good relationships with all our parents.

We are a thriving two form entry school in Cheshunt with approximately 490 children on roll in our preschool, nursery and primary school. We have a longstanding and experienced staff who have high expectations of the behaviour and outcomes of the children in our school.

Our core values of Courage, Curiosity and Compassion continue to form the basis of all that we do in school. We encourage our children to take risks and believe that they can achieve anything! We welcome their questions and we are proud of the way they treat each other. We aim for our pupils to be courageous in their thinking and actions.  

Here at Flamstead End, we have the highest expectations of all our children, in both their learning and behaviour. Our staff are also lifelong learners and are constantly evolving their practice to ensure that the needs of our children are met. Children do well at Flamstead End both academically and emotionally and enjoy coming to school. We believe that the children need to be ready to learn in order to achieve all that they can. We nurture, support and challenge our pupils to be independent learners and to be ready for the next stage of their learning.
