Storytelling week at Flamstead End

This week is the National Literacy Trust Storytelling week and today the children in KS2 joined their live Storytelling event. Author and storyteller Wendy Shearer shared a story and explained to the children watching how she goes about creating her stories.

Throughout this week, our classes will be buddying up with another class to share stories and for the older children to read to the younger ones. We really hope that parents and carers at home will join in with the spirit of the event and enjoy sharing some of their favourite stories with their families too.
