PSHE
BackOur intent for PSHE
“We are aiming to nurture resilient, emotionally aware children, ready to flourish in the world ahead, who are able to reach their full potential.
We want the children in our care to be aware of their own emotional and physical wellbeing and the wellbeing of others.
We would also like the children of Flamstead End to be knowledgeable in the laws of society in which they live and their rights and responsibility and these of others and impact of their choices.”
Implementation:
At Flamstead End School, we follow the Jigsaw scheme of work. Through our teaching we ensure that:
- Children will understand, demonstrate and apply the British Values
- Children develop a sense of sympathy and empathy towards others
- Children will understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle and apply this
- Children acquire and develop the skills and confidence to undertake problem-solving and decision-making.
