Y5 Monsterology exhibition

On Thursday afternoon, the Y5 parents came into school to see the amazing work that Y5 have produced in their work based on the Monsterology book. Combining computing, art and writing skills, it really demonstrated what our children can achieve when they take ownership of their learning. They created and made 3D versions of their own monsters, wrote a report on them which they then published and produced a film which the parents could watch on ipads by clicking on the QR codes. There was a real buzz in the hall as the children showed their parents what they had done, a real sense of pride in their work and a lot of 'wow's and positive comments from all the adults! 

Well done to all the children and staff in Y5 for this fantastic learning and thanks to all the parents who came in today to celebrate this.
