World Book Day 2023

The whole school celebrated World Book Day by coming to school dressed in comfy clothes to represent the enjoyment of snuggling up with a favourite book in a cosy place at home. We hosted a book swap, watched online events, shared stories with our buddy classes across the Key Stages and took part in other linked activities in class throughout the day. Encouraging reading for pleasure was at the forefront of what every class did today. 

Thanks to all parents who supported us by allowing the children to bring in their books to swap. I hope you enjoy reading their new books too!
